Our Policies

Ensuring the Best Experience

At GET THAT GLOW, we go above & beyond to make sure our valued clients have the best experience possible, from the minute they enter our doors to the moment they leave our incomparable Salon. Please take a moment to review our policies to ensure you understand our operations procedures. If you have any questions, just get in touch and we’ll be more than happy to help.

DEPOSITS

We require a 50% deposit payment at point of booking any treatment (sunbeds excluded). This payment will then be deducted off the total cost of the treatment which will then be paid once the treatment has been completed.

Please note if you do not turn up for the appointment without contacting us to reschedule, we will class this as a no show and the deposit will be non-refundable.

LATE ARRIVALS

In order to respect the time of both our clients and our staff, we ask you to arrive on time for your appointment. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will forfeit the original appointment and will then need to be rescheduled. Please contact the salon to confirm this and rearrange your new appointment.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. If the booking was made on the same day, notify us at least 3 hours prior. Cancellations that break these rules will mean your deposit will be non-refundable.

NO SHOWS

In the case of missing your appointment without rescheduling or contacting the salon, this will result  in your 50% deposit payment being non-refundable and unable to be used against any future bookings.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Our salon operates a challenge 21 system. If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 21, you will be asked to provide identification in order to use the sunbeds. Our age policy for sunbed usage is strictly 18 years old or over.

If you are booking an aesthetics treatment, you must also be over 18 years or over. For any spa treatment such as facials & massage, you must be 16 years or over.

HEALTH HISTORY

For your comfort and safety, please notify our specialists if you have allergies, any physical issues or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during the treatment, please alert your service provider immediately.

RECEPTIONIST'S DUTY - FITZPATRICK SKIN SCALE

Our team of receptionists have been trained to provide the best advise and recommendations for the use of our sunbeds. When you arrive at the salon in order to use one of our sunbeds, our receptionist will advise you on your choice of minutes requested depending on your Fitzpatrick skin scale. Should they feel they need to advise you to  reduce the amount of minutes for of sunbed usage in order to have a safe and beneficial session, they will, and have been trained to do so. We ask you politely take this professional advise on board.

CHILDREN IN THE SALON

As we are concerned with your and your children’s safety, we strictly prohibit unsupervised children in the salon. In emergency situations, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.
